When [VICTIM ] returned , she briefly spoke with Calvin. [VICTIM ] stated it was all cool until Calvin said, “You wanna be a he then get your sht and get out”. Calvin then started arguing with [VICTIM ] as she got up and walked down the Hallway. [VICTIM ] then stated that Calvin walked up behind her and slammed her on the ground. Calvin then got up on top of her and started choking her while saying, ” You think im Playing with you?”. [VICTIM ] said she didn’t lose consciousness but felt pressure. Calvin then got up and ran out the door as [VICTIM ] texted her sister and told her to call the police.Another officer and I noted that [VICTIM ] had red markings around her neck. [VICTIM ] also had red hand marks behind her ears. [VICTIM ] declined EMS and stated they share a child. [VICTIM ] said she would be staying with a relative.I informed [VICTIM ] this would be documented and was given the victim’s bill of rights.
