On August 17, 2024
at 2209 hours I was dispatched to [1000 BLOCK] Spring Place Road, White, GA in regards to a physical domestic.
Upon arrival I spoke with [VICTIM ] ([VICTIM ]). [VICTIM ] stated he and his girlfriend, Sarita Jasso were in the bed when they began arguing. [VICTIM ] stated he and Sarita exchanged words which included him calling Sarita’s mother a “bich” and her father a “rapist”. [VICTIM ] stated Sarita got very mad and began hitting him on the left side of his face and then bit him on the inner biceps of his left arm leaving a red bite mark. [VICTIM ] stated he then grabbed Sarita’s arms to stop her from continuing to hit him. [VICTIM ] stated he let go of Sarita and she got up from the bed. [VICTIM ] began recording with his cell phone when Sarita knocked his phone out of his hands. [VICTIM ] said he then grabbed Sarita’s phone to continue recording. In the video [VICTIM ] states he has Sarita’s phone and wont give it to her when she requested due to him having the evidence/video. [VICTIM ] said he didn’t want to give Sarita the phone so she can’t delete the video. In the video [VICTIM ] recorded where Sarita had bit him. I observed a very red imprint of a bite mark on his arm in the video. [VICTIM ] said Sarita then gathered belongings and left to go to her parents house at [100 BLOCK] Westview Dr. I recorded the video provided by [VICTIM ] with my body worn camera. I also took pictures of the bite mark on [VICTIM ]’s left arm. I also observed in the video [REDACTED BY AGENCY] sleeping in the basinet next to the bed where the altercation took place. Myself and another Deputy relocated to [100 BLOCK] Westview Dr in attempt to speak with Sarita. Upon arrival I spoke with Sarita. Sarita stated she was tired and wanted to go to bed but [VICTIM ] wanted to have sex. Sarita stated she refused and they laid in the bed. Sarita said she and [VICTIM ] began to argue and that is when [VICTIM ] called her mother a “bich” and her father a “rapist”. Sarita stated she then bit him and started hitting on him. Sarita said she was mad and then began gathering her belongings while [VICTIM ] recorded. Sarita said she got frustrated that [VICTIM ] was recording and knocked his phone out of his hand.
I was unable to secure handcuffs on Sarita due to her having a cast on her right hand. Sarita was escorted to my patrol vehicle.
Sarita was transported to the Bartow County Jail.
I secured two warrants on Sarita Jasso for Battery FVA and cruelty to children third degree FVA.
