Once at the door I was able to open the door due to it being unlocked. I began making load and clear commands for anyone to make themselves known and advised I was law enforcement.After a couple of announcements [REDACTED BY AGENCY] announced herself. I began giving her commands to come out with her hands up. I secure [REDACTED BY AGENCY] behind me asking if anyone else was in the house. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated her sister [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was up stairs with her baby.I ordered [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to stay on the front porch and to point back up deputies in my direction. I proceeded into the residence moving to where I could see up stairs. I began making loud commands to come down and making themselves known.[REDACTED BY AGENCY] announced herself and came out with her baby in her hands. Once back up arrived we began searching the rest of the house to not find the suspect.I began talking with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who stated she had taken the younger kids to the bus for school. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said once back inside the house she forgot to lock the front door. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised she began playing music with her phone so she could fall asleep.[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated when she was laying in bed she was shaken awake to see someone on top of her with their hands around her neck choking her. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said she began kicking and punching the suspect fighting for her life. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised during the fight they fell off the bed breaking a ceramic cup. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised the suspect gained control of her and placed her back on the bed laying on her chest. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated the suspect did tell her if she moved or made a sound he was going to kill everyone there. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said she cooperated and did not make a sound.[REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised the suspect then covered her with a blanket and told her to count to 100. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she counted to 80 and looked to see the suspect had left. Once [REDACTED BY AGENCY] knew the suspect was not in her room she immediately found her phone and called 911.I spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who stated she did not hear or see anyone during the incident. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] began saying it may have been Jonathan Jordan who was the suspect. I asked who Jonathan was and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said he and his wife [WITNESS #1] rent out the apartment in the basement.I proceeded to the basement side of the house with other deputies and made contact with [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] began saying she had not seen Jonathan sense 0100 hours. [WITNESS #1] said her and Jonathan had an argument the night before and Jonathan had packed two bags with cloths and walked to the road.[WITNESS #1] began saying Jonathan could not do this. [WITNESS #1] said she believed the suspect was a [REDACTED] subject she had sold her red in color Dodge ram truck too, but once down the road the truck broke down and they demanded their money back to which [WITNESS #1] refused. [WITNESS #1] also said she was worried about Jonathan due to not seeing him sense 0100 hours not knowing where he was, and he did not have a phone.Once Investigator Mendenhall arrived the scene was handed over. While working the parameter search Deputy Maney did find a black trash bag across the road from the residence. Upon looking inside the trash bag we found a green bag and black bookbag that Jonathan was last seen with.I provided [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] with a business card and case number.[End of Narrative][NARRATIVE #2 on March 12, 2026]On 03/12/2026 approximately 1837 hours, I Deputy J.Coffey responded to a Suspicious person Call in the area of [1000 BLOCK] Creasy Patch Rd in reference to multiple calls into 911 Emergency Dispatch.Each caller stated that they believe the person we have been looking for “Jonathan Lee Jordan” was spotted walking down the road, and gave a description of him based off of a Social Media post made by the Habersham Sheriff Office and local news to look out for the suspect who was involved earlier this date in a home invasion and aggravated assault.As I arrived on Creasy Patch rd, Deputies McClain, and Luders had just made contact with Jonathan Lee Jordan and had him detained in the rea seat of Luders Patrol vehicle awaiting confirmation on the Felony Warrant information. After confirmation was received, Deputy Luders transported Jordan to the Habersham County Detention Center. Myself and Deputy McClain then conducted a follow up to the Victim in the Case at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Rd. Upon our arrival we spoke with the victim and the family who were present to inform them that we have arrested the suspect, and Jordan was taken to the Habersham Detention Center.Prior to leaving the follow up, the Victim pointed at a Cream in color Carhart T-Shirt that was laying in the floor next the front door of the residence and stated that it was the suspects T-Shirt that he had left in her residence. I then took the T-Shirt and secured it into my patrol vehicle to be submitted into evidence. The T-Shirt was submitted into evidence and stored in evidence locker #2 at the Habersham County Sheriff Office.[End of Narrative][NARRATIVE #3 on March 12, 2026]On 3-12-2026, at approximately 1750 hours, D/S LUDERS unit #174 was dispatched to the area of the 3300 block of Mud Creek road in reference to a look out for a suspicious male, possibly the male in look out from earlier in the day. While en route to the area dispatch was advising of location changes.As LUDERS pulled into the area of Mud Creek, dispatch advised that the male was seen in the 700 to 800 block of Creasy Patch road. LUDERS heard on the radio that D/S MCLAIN unit #129 was out with a male matching the description at [800 BLOCK] Creasy Patch Road. LUDERS pulled up to the scene just as MCLAIN was applying handcuffs to the male.The male, (later identified as JORDAN) was checked for contraband with none found. The male was placed into the back seat of LUDERS’s Patrol vehicle. Once the identify was confirmed and dispatch advised of pending warrants, the seat belt was fastened on JORDAN.Dispatch was advised of mileage, and was transported without incident to the Habersham County Detention Center for processing. JORDAN was turned over to jail staff and the back seat was checked before and after the transport with non contraband found.[End of Narrative]. On 3/12/2026 at 0748 hours, I Deputy Sless was dispatched and responded code three to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] road Cornelia Georgia in reference to a Home Invasion.
Upon my arrival I proceeded to the front door. Once at the door I was able to open the door due to it being unlocked. I began making load and clear commands for anyone to make themselves known and advised I was law enforcement.
