Discretion is advised.]On March 14, 2026 at approximately 2030 hours, DEPUTY JUSTIN MCCLAIN was dispatched and responded code 1 to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Demorest, GA in reference to a verbal domestic.Upon arrival, MCCLAIN made contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY], who stated she had an argument with her husband, CHRISTOPHER WHISNANT (complainant/offender/wanted), when he grabbed her by the throat and pushed her against the car.[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated CHRISTOPHER was released from jail approximately a week ago and has been accusing her of cheating ever since. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she hasn’t seen CHRISTOPHER all day then he came home accusing her of cheating again. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated CHRISTOPHER was saying he was leaving and wanted a divorce. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated this is when CHRISTOPHER grabbed her by the throat and squeezed, cutting off her airway and preventing her from breathing. While speaking with [REDACTED BY AGENCY], MCCLAIN observed a red mark on the left side of her neck, along with cuts from CHRISTOPHER’s fingernail’s on the back of her left arm.
