I asked Ms. [VICTIM #1] to indicate where she had been struck, and she pointed to the side of her face, where a visible red mark was observed.I advised Ms. [VICTIM #1] to remain at the Unison Behavioral Health building while I responded to the residence to speak with Mr. Cleland. Upon arrival at [100 BLOCK] Cannon Street, I made contact with Mr. Terry Cleland. Mr. Cleland stated that the altercation began after he made a rude comment toward Ms. [VICTIM #1], causing her to become angry. He further claimed that Ms. [VICTIM #1] threw a Red Bull can at him, made a mess inside the residence, stole his Cash App card and cellular phone, and then left the residence.After hearing Mr. Cleland’s statement, I left him in the presence of another officer and returned to the Unison Behavioral Health building to verify the allegations.
