On November 19 2024
at 0825 hours I responded to a criminal Trespassing call located at 322 E. Taylor Street at the Rose of Sharon.
Upon arrival, I spoke with Ms. [WITNESS ] (the manager) who stated there was a white male later identified as Richard Johnson standing outside of the building trying to get inside. Ms. [WITNESS ] stated once one of the residents came into the building he came in behind them. Ms. [WITNESS ] stated she told him he could not be in there because he doesn’t live here. Ms. [WITNESS ] stated Ms [VICTIM ] ==(resident) stepped in front of her with both of her arms out trying to block him from going into the building even further stating “You can’t come in the building.” Ms. [VICTIM ] stated He pushed her and stated “You can’t tell me what to do. Get out of my way or I’m going to hurt you. Ms. [VICTIM ] stated she did not fall to the ground. Ms. [WITNESS ] stated he was on the 11th floor. I walked up to the 11th floor and observed Mr. Johnson sitting on the floor in front of the bookshelf picking up books. I asked Mr. Johnson to put the books back and come with me because the manager no longer wanted him on the property. Mr. Johnson was very disorderly by getting up and yelling at me with his fingers in my face. I immediately put his hands behind his back and informed him he was under arrest.
Mr. Johnson was charged with 16-7-21 Criminal trespassing
16-11-39 Disorderly conduct
16-5-23 Simple Battery
Mr. Johnson was also banned from the property. It was read to him if he returned back to 322 E Taylor Street Rose of Sharon, he would be charged with Criminal trespassing.
Mr. Johnson was transported to CCDC and he was turned over to booking.
