On 6-28-24 around 1205 I, Dep. Vonderhuevel, responded to [2000 BLOCK] Hart-Smith St in reference to an assist call with Animal Control.
Upon my arrival I met with animal control who had responded to the address in reference to an animal complaint. I walked through the residence with them and saw multiple dogs in crates to small for them to be in as well as cats in the same situation. All animals were dirty with most looking sick and malnourished. Animal Control had arrested Montana Baker Hickey but due to their vehicles could not transport. Animal Control took lead on scene and in the case I was there to transport. I placed Montana in the rear of my vehicle after her animals were taken by animal control and transported her to the Bibb LEC without incident where she was booked in reference to cruelty to animals.
