Discretion is advised.][NARRATIVE #1 on November 08, 2025]On November 08, 2025, at 2316, Deputy M.D. GALLMAN with the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division responded to [100 BLOCK] Johnson Drive SE Calhoun, Georgia inside Gordon county in reference to a criminal trespassing in progress.Deputy GALLMAN arrived on scene and spoke with [VICTIM #1] and she stated that CHARLES BATTLES was at this residence knocking on the door a few minutes before Deputy GALLMAN arrived. [VICTIM #1] stated that BATTLES has been criminally trespassed from this residence earlier this year. [VICTIM #1] then stated that BATTLES had been charged with stalking [VICTIM #1] earlier this year.[VICTIM #1] then stated that she has five security cameras on the outside of her residence. [VICTIM #1] then stated that BATTLES unplugged four of the security cameras and the one that was not unplugged captured BATTLES on the front porch of the residence knocking on the door.Deputy GALLMAN watched the footage of BATTLES knocking on the door and asking [VICTIM #1] to open the door. [VICTIM #1] was having issues sending the camera footage to Deputy GALLMAN and stated that she would try to email the camera footage at a later time.After research it was discovered that a no contact order between CHARLES BATTLES and [VICTIM #1] was signed on September 4, 2025. The no contact order also stated that BATTLES had 48 hours from his release from custody to get out of Gordon county.Deputies searched the surrounding area attempting to locate BATTLES but were unable to locate BATTLES. State warrants are being taken for CHARLES BATTLES for the offenses of aggravated stalking 16-5-91 and criminal trespass 16-7-21. [VICTIM #1] stated that the trash container was sitting at the end of the driveway to her residence. [VICTIM #1] then stated that she believes CHARLES BATTLES is the subject that burned the trash container. [VICTIM #1] stated that BATTLES has been stalking and harassing [VICTIM #1] and even made the comment that BATTLES would burn it down.[VICTIM #1] stated that BATTLES was at her residence on November 08, 2025 at 2245 knocking on the front door and [VICTIM #1] stated that she did not open the door for BATTLES and called 911 and stated by the time Deputies arrived on scene BATTLES had already left.A separate report was documented for BATTLES being at the residence and warrants for aggravated stalking and criminal trespass were issued. The information came through DEPUTY M.D. GALLMAN.Upon arrival, Deputy COFFEY made contact with [VICTIM #1] who advised that when she woke up and checked her cameras she found that at two(2) separate times CHARLES had been on her property. She provided two videos of CHARLES. The first video was at approximately 0018 hours and CHARLES is seen walking up her driveway. The second video was at approximately 0307 hours showing CHARLES walking up to the front porch and trying to look in the residence and opening the storm door.[VICTIM #1] identified the person in the videos as CHARLES BATTLES. COFFEY of the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division responded to [100 BLOCK] Johnson Drive, Calhoun, Gordon County, Georgia in reference to a residence on fire.Upon arrival, Deputy COFFEY made contact with [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] who were out of the residence that was on fire. [VICTIM #1] advised that they had been asleep and woke to the sounds of her house burning and crackling. She advised that she had been asleep in [VICTIM #2]’S room when the the incident occurred grabbed him and ran outside and called 911. There was a photograph obtained showing CHARLES TIMOTHY BATTLES walking around outside the residence at approximately 0557 hours.As Fire Department arrived on scene the property was secured with crime scene tape and crime scene entry log was started and completed. The scene was turned over to Fire Department and Gordon County Criminal Investigation Division.[End of Narrative]. On November 08, 2025, at 2316, Deputy M.D. GALLMAN with the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division responded to [100 BLOCK] Johnson Drive SE Calhoun, Georgia inside Gordon county in reference to a criminal trespassing in progress.
