Discretion is advised.][NARRATIVE #1 on September 27, 2025]On September 27th, 2025 at approximately 2235 hours, Deputy Baird responded to Deputy Stooksbury, badge number 587, while he was on a call for service at [500 BLOCK] Indian Springs Rd. Deputy Stooksbury called for assistance over the radio due to hearing multiple gun shots and observing multiple people running and driving away from the residence.Upon arrival, Deputy Baird could hear multiple people screaming and asking for help, due to someone being shot. Deputy Baird went up the driveway and observed multiple people standing and kneeled down next to a female on the ground. Deputy Baird observed the female to be pale, with blood on her face and neck. The female was not responding to her friends. Cpl. Davis, badge number 533, arrived on scene and asked Deputy Baird to begin CPR. The female did not appear to be breathing, and Deputy Baird could not locate a pulse. Deputy Baird began and continued CPR until he was relieved by Fire and EMS.After Deputy Baird was relieved, Deputy Baird was instructed by Cpl. Davis to set up crime scene tape around the scene, which was completed. Deputy Baird was also instructed to start a crime scene log.Deputy Baird stood by the crime scene tape for security of the crime scene. Deputy Baird helped gather information from witnesses and people who were at the residence during this incident.Deputy Baird turned the crime scene over to Detective Roden, badge number 524, upon his arrival. After the crime scene was completed, the crime scene log was terminated and turned over to Detective Roden.[End of Narrative][NARRATIVE #2 on September 27, 2025]On 9/27/2025 Deputy Walker arrived at [500 BLOCK] Indian Springs Rd due to Deputy Stooksbury calling for backup units due to a shooting occurring. Upon arrival Deputy Walker spoke with Deputy Stooksbury who said that the shooter ran in the direction of Shawnee Trl.Deputy Walker and Deputy Stooksbury searched for the shooter around Shawnee Trl and N Lakeshore Dr. Deputy Walker waited at the woodline at N Lakeshore Dr for Murray and Gordon County K9 units to arrive. When K9 units arrived Deputy Walker followed a Murray County Unit as it conducted an area search of the wooded area on the northwest side of N Lakeshore Dr. The offender was not located and the K9 search was concluded.Deputy Walker followed the Guy Yates wrecker carrying the white Honda minivan to the CCSO impound lot where it was secured. Deputy Walker then went back into service.[End of Narrative][NARRATIVE #3 on September 28, 2025]On 9/28/2025 at approximately 2223 hours, Deputy Stooksbury responded to a noise complainant at [500 BLOCK] Indian Springs Rd. As Deputy Stooksbury was driving down Apache Trail, on the back side of [500 BLOCK] Indian Springs Rd, Deputy Stooksbury heard approximately 6 gun shots. Deputy Stooksbury advised dispatch of the shots in the area and requested an additional unit at this time.Deputy Stooksbury then witnessed a white van back out of the driveway of the residence where the noise was located. The van backed into the ditch of the residence at [100 BLOCK] Apache Trail and Deputy Stooksbury then heard screaming and people yelling to call the cops. Deputy Stooksbury also observed several vehicles leaving the scene and many people running away from the residence on foot. Deputy Stooksbury turned on his blue lights and got out of the vehicle. A female in the yard of [100 BLOCK] Apache Trail stated that there had been shooting and her daughter was at the residence where it occurred. Deputy Stooksbury then opened his trunk to retrieve his agency issued rifle.A male witness told Deputy Stooksbury that the shooter ran and pointed in the direction of the right side of the house at [100 BLOCK] Apache Trail. Deputy Stooksbury then heard approximately 4 gunshots and out of his peripheral vision, observed them some distance behind [100 BLOCK] Apache Trail. Deputy Stooksbury believed the gunshots he witnessed to be fired by a handgun. Deputy Stooksbury observed a male in a dark color shirt, believed to be a hoodie and dark pants, running toward Shawnee Trail.Deputy Stooksbury pointed his patrol rifle at the suspect and yelled Sheriff’s Office, but the suspect was approximately 150 yards away at this time and continued running toward the wood line adjacent to Shawnee trail. Deputy Stooksbury then requested all available units to his location. The witness then told Deputy Stooksbury a girl had been shot and that the occupants of the white van that wrecked were involved.Deputy Stooksbury advised the male witness to watch the occupants of the van and tell Deputy Stooksbury if the occupants attempted to leave the scene. Deputy Stooksbury went to assess the victims in the driveway of [500 BLOCK] Indian Springs Rd. [VICTIM #1] was one of the victims who had been shot and Deputy Stooksbury asked the witnesses where she had been shot. The witnesses rendering aid to her said she was shot in her right shoulder. At this time, [VICTIM #1] was still conscious and breathing, but her breathing was agonal. Deputy Stooksbury advised the female who was currently attempting to render aid to [VICTIM #1] to keep pressure on the wound and gave another girl on scene a flashlight for them to be able to see the victim.Deputy Stooksbury was advised by [VICTIM #2] that she had also been shot and showed Deputy Stooksbury a place on her right buttock where a bullet had grazed her, but did not appear to have caused a life threatening injury. Another girl then advised Deputy Stooksbury she had been run over and Deputy Stooksbury told her to sit down and advised them all that EMS was on the way and to continue holding as much pressure on the wound as they could. Deputy Stooksbury then moved toward the roadway, still believing the occupants of the van could be potential threats due to the unknown circumstances and the male witness saying they were involved. Deputy Stooksbury viewed the occupants of the vehicle, but they did not appear as threats.At this time, other deputies arrived on scene. Deputy Baird and Cpl. Davis went to render aid to the victims while Deputy Stooksbury and Deputy Walker pursued one of the shooters that Deputy Stooksbury previously observed moving toward the wood line at the end of Shawnee Trail where it intersects with N Lakeshore Drive. Deputies made contact with a resident at one of the houses on the end of Shawnee Trail that said someone beat on her door, but nobody was there when she opened the door.The next door neighbor was a male and also outside and said he had heard rustling in the woods next to his house. Deputy Stooksbury, Deputy Walker, and Trooper King set up a perimeter at the wood line and eventually followed a service trail out to Graysville Rd, along the edge of the woods, in search of the suspect. Deputies stated many times for the suspect to come out and identified ourselves. Deputy Walker observed a pair of black tennis shoes at the entrance to the woods near Shawnee trail that appeared to potentially be the suspect due to them not being dirty and based on the location they were found.Deputy Stooksbury then went toward the residence where the shooting occurred. Deputy Stooksbury spoke with 3 males who said they were present at the party. The males stated that there had been 2 different males who were shooting. The witnesses stated that one shooter was a Hispanic male namedEricthat goes by “E-Money” and the other shooter was a black male that goes by “Fatty” as his street name.The witnesses said they believed that the shooters were possibly gang members from Chattanooga. Deputy Stooksbury then had the witnesses give Deputy Baird their ID’s and to wait for detectives to take their statements. Deputy Stooksbury was advised by Corporal Davis, who had assumed incident command, to relocate to the front of [500 BLOCK] Indian Springs Rd to secure the front of the residence from anyone attempting to enter the property. Deputy Stooksbury was eventually told to respond to another call and left the scene.The suspects were later identified as the 2 listed offenders.Deputy Stooksbury believed there were potentially 20-30 people present at the house when the shooting occurred.As of the morning hours of 9/28/2025, [VICTIM #1] was pronounced deceased by the hospital due to injuries incurred from the shooting.[End of Narrative][NARRATIVE #4 on September 28, 2025]On 09/28/2025 Cpl. Davis responded to [500 BLOCK] Indian Springs Rd for the reports of shots fired from Deputy Stooksbury. Upon arrival Cpl. Davis was met with a crowd of approximately 20-30 individuals on and around the property, Cpl. Davis made contact with the victim [VICTIM #1] and Deputy Baird, Cpl. Davis observed the victim to be pale, cool to the touch, and to have pupils that were not reactive to light. Cpl. Davis also observed this victim to be bleeding from an unknown source, Cpl. Davis checked a pulse and found her to be pulse less and apenic, Cpl Davis also made contact with victim.[VICTIM #2] who had been grazed by a gunshot on her left buttocks, the injury appeared to not be life threatening and all bleeding had stopped. Cpl. Davis instructed Deputy Baird to begin CPR while Cpl. Davis retrieved his AED from his vehicle, Cpl. Davis returned and began securing the scene by removing all non essential persons from the crime scene and onto the street.After Deputy Baird turned the victim over to Catoosa Fire Cpl. Davis instructed him to set up crime scene tape and begin a crime scene log. Cpl. Davis then notified the on call detective Zach Roden who notified the on call supervisor J. Stockard. Cpl. Davis requested a K9 to respond to the scene for a possible track due to one offender fleeing into the tree line upon Deputy Stooksbury’s arrival. Murray County and Calhoun PD arrived with their K9s and began a track that Deputy Walker assisted with but had no success in locating the offender. Cpl. Davis maintained the perimeter of the scene and turned it over to CID upon their arrival.[End of Narrative][NARRATIVE #5 on September 29, 2025]Detective Roden was contacted by Corporal Davis about this incident, and responded to the incident location. Detective Roden and other detectives conducted interviews and processed the scene. A search warrant for the property was obtained and executed. The offenders were identified and warrants have been obtained for both subjects. This case will be active pending the capture of the offenders. See case file for further[End of Narrative][NARRATIVE #6 on October 01, 2025]After a waiver of extradition was signed in the the case against Mr.Williamson, Deputy Dowis took the listed offender into his custody at Silverdale Detention Center for an active warrant.The subject was searched then placed in handcuffs and leg shackles. All the cuffs were in the rear, checked for proper fit and double locked prior to seat belting the offender into the prisoner compartment of the patrol car. The offender was then transported to the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office without incident and turned over to the Criminal Investigation Division. The prisoner compartment of the patrol car was checked for contraband prior to and after arrival at the Sheriff’s Office and nothing was found.A warrant clear sheet was attached to this report.[End of Narrative][NARRATIVE #7 on October 01, 2025]On October 1st, 2025 at approximately 11:33am, offender J.W. arrived at the Catoosa County Jail after being transported from the Hamilton County Jail. J.W. was served with a warrant for murder by Captain Stockard, and was turned over to jail staff.Offender E.L. arrived at the jail at 4:00am on October 2nd after being transported from the Hamilton County Jail. Deputy Cole Stooksbury transported E.L. and served him with a murder warrant. E.L. was turned over to jail staff. This case is still under investigation and active.[End of Narrative][NARRATIVE #8 on October 02, 2025]On 10/2/2025 at approximately 0304 hours, Deputy Stooksbury arrived at the Hamilton County Jail to take custody of the offender for transport back to the Catoosa County Detention Center on a valid Catoosa County warrant.Deputy Stooksbury placed the offender in handcuffs in his front, as well as leg shackles, with all cuffs being double locked and checked for fit. The offender was searched prior to transport with nothing being found. The offender was placed in the rear seat of Deputy Stooksbury’s patrol car and seat belted in.The offender was transported to the Catoosa County Detention Center and turned over to booking staff without incident. Deputy Stooksbury served the offender’s valid Catoosa County warrant on the offender in the booking area. The rear seat of Deputy Stooksbury’s patrol car was searched before and after transport with nothing being located.The offender’s warrant has been cleared in GCIC by dispatch and the clearance sheet is attached to this report.[End of Narrative].
