Discretion is advised.][NARRATIVE on June 03, 2022]On Friday, June 3, 2022, at 1115 hours, I was dispatched to the Bartow County Sheriff’s office, in reference to a forgery report. Upon arrival, I met with [VICTIM ].[VICTIM ] advised back around April 20, 2022, a check from Bankers Life and Casualty Company got sent to his address of [100 BLOCK] Gold Hill Drive, Acworth. [VICTIM ] advised the check was for $1,380.28, and when he ed the bank recently about him not receiving the check, they advised him it was already cashed. [VICTIM ] advised he suspects Terri Harris as the female that stole the check out of his mailbox and forged his name on the check. [VICTIM ] advised he does not know when the check was cashed, nor which bank it was at.[End of Narrative][NARRATIVE on June 19, 2022]On Sunday, June 19, 2022, at approximately 1024 hours, I was dispatched to handle a report of a theft which occurred at [100 BLOCK] Mountain View Rd Acworth, Ga 30102. I spoke with Ms. [VICTIM ] in reference to this incident.[VICTIM ] stated she was previously staying in a tent on this property, but still had some of her property located inside of the tent while she has been housed elsewhere. [VICTIM ] stated Ms. Terri Harris and Mr. Jason Bishop came onto the property, inside of her tent and stole several of her items between 1300 hours on 6/17/22 and 0300 hours on 6/18/22.[VICTIM ] explained that a neighbor had came to her and said she saw Terri and Jason leave the property carrying several of her items down the road. Terri and Jason had supposedly taken [VICTIM ]’s items down a wooded trail at the end of Boulder Crest Rd.At approximately 1210 hours, I went to the end of Boulder Crest Rd and made my way down the trail which ended at the lake. I noticed a tent set up which appeared to have been abandoned. The tent did appear to be [VICTIM ]’s property based on the way she had initially described. I advised [VICTIM ] that she could come and retrieve her items.I was unable to make with Terri or Jason.[VICTIM ] recovered her tent and advised she wished to press charges for the theft of her remaining items.[End of Narrative].
