[NARRATIVE on June 19, 2022]
On Sunday, June 19, 2022, at approximately 1024 hours, I was dispatched to handle a report of a theft which occurred at [100 BLOCK] Mountain View Rd Acworth, Ga 30102. I spoke with Ms. [VICTIM ] in reference to this incident.
[VICTIM ] stated she was previously staying in a tent on this property, but still had some of her property located inside of the tent while she has been housed elsewhere. [VICTIM ] stated Ms. Terri Harris and Mr. Jason Bishop came onto the property, inside of her tent and stole several of her items between 1300 hours on 6/17/22 and 0300 hours on 6/18/22.
[VICTIM ] explained that a neighbor had came to her and said she saw Terri and Jason leave the property carrying several of her items down the road. Terri and Jason had supposedly taken [VICTIM ]’s items down a wooded trail at the end of Boulder Crest Rd.
At approximately 1210 hours, I went to the end of Boulder Crest Rd and made my way down the trail which ended at the lake. I noticed a tent set up which appeared to have been abandoned. The tent did appear to be [VICTIM ]’s property based on the way she had initially described. I advised [VICTIM ] that she could come and retrieve her items.
I was unable to make with Terri or Jason.
[VICTIM ] recovered her tent and advised she wished to press charges for the theft of her remaining items.
