Discretion is advised.]On 11/17/2024Deputy Davis was dispatched to [10 BLOCK] Williams Street for the reports of a fight in progress. Upon Deputy Davis’s arrival he observed a glass beer bottle on the roadway after he had ran over it prior to it being run over it was still in one piece. Deputy Davis made with the offender who had a cut above his right eye and was visibly under the influence.The offender states that the victim had been out smoking crack at a different location when he arrived with a new to them truck. The offender states that after the victim told him that he would have to pay extra rent to cover for the truck he began calling the victim a “crack head”. The offender states that the victim became engaged and began striking the offender in the face. The offender states he left and called 911.Deputy Davis then spoke to the victim who states that he had gone and bought a truck due to his breaking down. The victim states that he gives the offender who is his roommate a ride to his job due to the offender not having a license. The victim states that when he came he found that the offender had been drinking and had consumed a 12 pack of corona. The offender states that he spoke to the offender stating that due to having to purchase a new truck he would have to pay more on rent to help supplement the cost. The victim states that the offender then began yelling and went out of the and began banging on the neighbors windows. The victims states that the offender then called 911 and while asking him to please come back inside the offender threw a beer bottle striking him. The victim states that he tried to get away from the offender and eventually pushed him in fear of more bodily injury. The victim states that he believes that he may have fallen after this causing the cut but states that he did not hit the victim.Deputy Davis met with the two witnesses who had videoed the incident that shows the victim on his knees in front of the offender before the offender throws the beer bottle striking him in the face. It then shows the offender following the victim around the truck where the video ends.Deputy Davis did not observe any marks on the victims hands consistent with striking someone’s face.Deputy Davis advised the offender he was under arrest handcuffed in the back double locked checked for fit, ed, placed in the right rear of his patrol vehicle and seat belted in.Deputy Davis transported the offender to the Catoosa County Jail and turned him over to detention staff, while being ed by detention staff a cigarette containing a green leafy substance commonly identified as marijuana was found in the offenders breast pocket.Deputy Davis checked his patrol vehicle prior to and post transport with no contraband found.[End of Narrative].
