I responded to 1201 Gloucester Street, Brunswick Fire Station, Ms. [VICTIM ] had walked to the fire station to make a report of a sex offense that had just occurred at The Well, 1101 Gloucester Street.
Ms. [VICTIM ] advised she was at the well and had fallen asleep out front waiting for it to open, as she was unsure of the time because her phone had been broken yesterday. Ms. [VICTIM ] advised as she was sleeping she felt something tight around her neck. Ms. [VICTIM ] advised she opened her eyes and saw a white male standing over top of her with his genitals exposed and ” jerking off”. Ms. [VICTIM ] advised she tried to sit up and she could not as his hand was still around her neck. Ms. [VICTIM ] stated she put her hand on his hand and he let go of her neck and then began to touch her breasts. Ms. [VICTIM ] advised the male stood over top of her for approximately five minutes until he ejaculated, then threw down a dollar bill and got on his black bike and left heading west on Gloucester Street.
Ms. [VICTIM ] advised the male looked older, as he has gray hair and a gray beard wearing possibly a light blue colored t-shirt and blue jeans. Ms. [VICTIM ] advised the black bicycle had a super bright light on the front.
Ms. [VICTIM ] advised it is the same male she made a report about yesterday, near Safe Harbor.
CID Herrera was notified and would not be responding, but would later follow up with Ms. [VICTIM ] at The Well today.
I provided Ms. [VICTIM ] a case card.
I made a check of the area for the suspect. I located a white male wearing a light gray t-shirt and blue jeans on a black bicycle with a super bright front light. I got out with the male on Norwich Street south of F Street. The male was identified at Warren Lewis Sholl. Mr. Sholl advised he was on his way to work at Staff Zone, and was riding around in the area until they opened, as they have been having troubles with persons lingering in the area before they open. Mr. Sholl advised he is on probation for Child Molestation, and recently was released from prison for doing 20 years. I advised Mr. Sholl he was free to leave, so he could go to Staff Zone.

On Monday, November 11, 2024
, I, Corporal Earl F. Wilson 07, was on duty with the Brunswick Police (BPD) Patrol A-2, Supervisor. I was in full BPD patrol uniform and equipped with a digital body-worn Axon camera. My vehicle for the day was the marked patrol truck 20-2.
At about 0500 hours, a sexual assault report had been filed with BPD. The incident took place outside of the Well at 1101 Gloucester Street. When the Well opened, the staff became aware of the incident and ed the police. The building security cameras were reviewed, and the incident had been recorded. A photograph of the suspect was provided to on-duty personnel.
Information was developed that the suspect may use StaffZone as a place of employment. At about 0826 hours, I spoke with the manager at StaffZone and showed her a photo of the suspect. She stated his name was Warren, and he was working at The Vintage Brunswick. The Vintage is located in unincorporated Glynn County, outside the city limits.
Additional information determined the suspect to be a WARREN SHOLL and that he is a registered sex offender for aggravated child molestation.
The on-call investigator was advised of the leads and the information that had been developed.
Based on the serious and violent nature of the alleged offense, the suspect appearing to be less or transient, and his past criminal history, myself and Sergeant Nolen determined the best course of action would be to proceed to the Vintage apartments and detain the suspect. I notified Glynn County Police watch commander Lt. Herndon 203.
After arrival at the Vintage at about 0857 hours, I was informed that the suspect was working in apartment [REDACTED]. I positioned myself at the stairwell and awaited other officers. While awaiting other officers, the suspect stepped out of the apartment and was on the telephone. I heard the suspect state, “One of the officers is out here.”
I then ordered the suspect to turn around and place his hands behind his back. He was handcuffed behind his back; the cuffs were double-locked and checked for fit. He was ed and turned over to Trainee Holt for transport to Criminal Investigations.
Later in the day, I was asked by CID to transport the suspect to the Glynn County Detention Center to be booked. He was handcuffed behind his back, ed, and seated in the right rear of the patrol vehicle. He was transported to Detention for processing. At Detention, arrest booking and victim’s notification were provided to detention deputies. WARREN was released to the custody of the Sheriff.
While the suspect was being booked, I asked him why he had stepped outside of the apartment and who he was talking to on the phone. He stated he had seen the Brunswick Police cars and called his brother, asking his brother if the police had been to their .
Axon’s body-worn camera was later uploaded to evidence.com, and all follow-ups were labeled under this report number.

[NARRATIVE on November 13, 2024

On 11/13/2024
at approximately 1905 hours a male who was later identified as [WITNESS ] came to 206 Mansfield St. in reference to a follow up.
I spoke with Mr. [WITNESS ] and asked him to explain what happened. Mr. [WITNESS ] advised that his brother Warren Sholl was arrested on Monday 11/11/2024
for aggravated assault and he turned his phone over to him. Mr. [WITNESS ] advised that there was videos on the cellular phone that he believes that needed to be turned over to the police. Mr. [WITNESS ] tried to show me the video. I advised Mr. [WITNESS ] that I did not need to see the video and that this is an active investigation and I would call my supervisor. I was advised that CID wanted the cellular phone for evidence. I asked Mr. [WITNESS ] if he knew the password to the phone. Mr. [WITNESS ] advised that the password to the phone is #[REDACTED]. Mr. [WITNESS ] turned the phone over for evidence and was given a property receipt. Mr. [WITNESS ] was advised that he would be ed when the phone was ready to be picked up.
