I arrived on the scene to find Sgt. Motes with the victim, [VICTIM ], who then advised that she was in an altercation with her boyfriend, Carlton Jefferson, which started in his vehicle. [VICTIM ] was visibly shaken up and crying while the Metro unit was on the scene checking her injuries. [VICTIM ] stated that Carlton pulled into the Greystone parking lot at this time. [VICTIM ] stated that she wanted her phone back but Carlton would not give it to her at first. [VICTIM ] then advised that Carlton got physical with her by open hand slapping her with his right hand causing marks to the right side of her face and back of her neck. [VICTIM ] stated she got out of the car and grabbed Carlton’s phone because she could not get her’s back. [VICTIM ] stated that Carlton continued slapping her outside of the car in the parking lot. Carlton finally then gave [VICTIM ] her phone back and then fled the scene.

[VICTIM ] stated that Carlton just got a new vehicle recently and it was a black four door BMW with a red dealership tag on it still. [VICTIM ] stated that Carlton did not really have a phone number and was just using the text now app. [VICTIM ] stated that Carlton does have tattoos all over his chest and shoulders and he regularly wears a silver Invicta watch with a blue face. [VICTIM ] was not wanting to press charges on Carlton at this time but I informed [VICTIM ] of the Domestic Violence laws in the State of Georgia.
I took photos of all the fresh injuries that [VICTIM ] had. [VICTIM ] had multiple red scratch marks and a fresh laceration to the back of her neck. [VICTIM ] also had red irritated skin around her neck jaw area with another mark on her right shoulder. Finally [VICTIM ] did have a fresh laceration in her right eyebrow. [VICTIM ] decline any further medical treatment by Metro. I was able to see a blurry shot of the suspect vehicle leaving the scene from Greystone Power but could not determine tag or model of vehicle. I gave [VICTIM ] the Victim Bill of Rights and legal advice for any future incidents to occur. I transported [VICTIM ] to her residence without any further incident or injury.
